Emergency

Roof

Leak from ceiling? Take pictures and contact property management.

Plumbing

  1. Never put your hands inside of garbage disposal.
  2. Is the disposal making any noise?
  3. If no noise, check if garbage disposal is plugged in, under sink.
  4. Check reset switch on disposal.
  5. Check if any breakers are tripped.
  6. Contact property management.
  1. Is water supply valve on? If not, turn valve counterclockwise to open. If valve is difficult to turn, then valve is on.
  2. Lift the lid on the tank body. Is the chain/cable for the plunger connected to the handle?
  3. If not, connect the chain back to the handle assembly.
  4. Contact property management.
  1. Attempt plunging with hand plunger.
  2. Contact property management.
  1. Gas – Check that pilot light is lit. If not, call PGE to light pilot.
  2. Electric – Check breaker panel for any tripped breakers.

Window / Doors

  1. Vacuum inside track, clean glides.
