- Never put your hands inside of garbage disposal.
- Is the disposal making any noise?
- If no noise, check if garbage disposal is plugged in, under sink.
- Check reset switch on disposal.
- Check if any breakers are tripped.

- Is water supply valve on? If not, turn valve counterclockwise to open. If valve is difficult to turn, then valve is on.
- Lift the lid on the tank body. Is the chain/cable for the plunger connected to the handle?
- If not, connect the chain back to the handle assembly.
