If a resident has a personal contents claim, they can file that claim online. It is a very easy process that does not require knowledge of insurance. The resident can enter their contact information and some information about the event. A representative from the insurance carrier will contact the resident within two business days. Ultimate resolution of the cause of the damage and payment of the claim rests with the insurance carrier.
