RENTER'S INSURANCE

CenCal Property Management, Inc. requires all of their residential residents to obtain a $100,000 policy for Resident’s legal liability for damage to Landlord’s property. This must be done prior to the lease signing and move-in. There are 2 options to satisfy this requirement.

Option 1) Enroll in AssetProtect from our preferred partner at a cost of $14.00 / month. If you would like to select this option, no action on your part is required. We will automatically enroll you at the time you sign your lease and your policy will auto-renew each month there-after.

Option 2) Opt-out of AssetProtect and purchase renter’s insurance from a traditional insurance company with at least a $100,000 limit for Resident’s legal liability for damage to Landlord’s property. CenCal Property Management also requires that you list “CenCal Property Management, Inc. PO Box 724437 Atlanta, GA 31139” as an additional interested party on your policy and upload your declarations page to www.APenroll.com so we are notified if the policy ever lapses or is cancelled. You may opt-out of AssetProtect by contacting your property manager after you have purchased the necessary policy and completed all the necessary steps.
